How do we live healthier lives? Keep the focus on the ier, as in healthier. Step by step. Just do something, and stick to it. Start with something easy. I will be writing more on this at my blog, but I would like to ask you to share your ideas on little things you've done to make your life or home a bit healthier. Firstly, Mendel, this blog is a great idea - yasher koach and I look forward to reading more.

I think people don't always realize  how many calories come from  drinks, leading to weight problems or obesity. While generally not as bad as sodas, even fruit juices can contribute to the problem and there is increasing evidence of negative effects of diet sodas.. As a first step towards reducing my  calories from drink intake , I have substituted water for half the glasses of sweet  drinks I would have normally had and when I do have a drink such as orange juice, I dilute it with water.
